To help maintain essential City services such as street pothole repair, park maintenance, law enforcement, youth and senior programs, and other City services, shall the City of Carpinteria adopt an ordinance to raise the City's hotel bed tax (Transient Occupancy Tax) from ten to twelve percent, paid only by hotel guests on their room rates, with annual independent audits, local oversight, and no money going to Sacramento?
