Measure D - City of Downey

To maintain Downey's long-term financial stability and general city services such as 911 response and fire/police protection; prevent crimes/thefts; recruit/retain well-trained firefighters/police officers; help ensure children have safe places to play; repair streets/potholes; shall an ordinance establishing a 1/4¢ sales tax providing approximately $6,000,000 annually until ended by voters; requiring audits, public spending disclosures/all funds locally controlled benefiting Downey residents, be adopted?
