With funds that cannot be taken by the State and spent elsewhere, shall Chula Vista Elementary School District’s measure to upgrade emergency communications and security systems; repair deteriorating roofs; ensure accessibility for the disabled; and renovate aging playground equipment and existing classrooms be adopted, authorizing $360 million of bonds levying approximately $29 per $100,000 of assessed valuation (raising $22 million annually) while outstanding, with legal rates, independent oversight, eligibility for State matching funds and full public disclosure of spending?

Shall Charter section 41.3 be added so the Ethics Commission, which regulates City officials, candidates for City office, lobbyists, and consultants, can be eliminated only by voters, appoints its own Executive Director without Council confirmation, independently initiates its own investigations and law enforcement referrals, has defined qualifications and term limits, and is provided sufficient resources?

To invest in neighborhood upgrades which can include fixing potholes, repairing streets, sidewalks, and streetlights, improving parks and libraries, updating police, fire, paramedic, and 9-1-1 response, and providing infrastructure and delivering general services across San Diego neighborhoods, shall the measure enacting a one-cent sales tax be adopted, generating approximately $400,000,000 per year until ended by voters, requiring citizen oversight and independent audits, with all funds staying in the City of San Diego?

To repair/upgrade roads, bridges, storm drains, rail lines, and prevent railway bluff collapse; reduce traffic congestion; improve pedestrian, bicyclist, and driver safety; improve public transit; protect wildlife habitat/air quality; and fill potholes; shall the measure authorizing a half-cent sales tax raising $350,000,000 annually until ended by voters, requiring citizen oversight, public spending disclosure, and independent annual audits be adopted?

To improve local schools with funds that cannot be taken by the State, shall South Bay Union School District’s measure to ensure disabled access; expand Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math classrooms; and upgrade emergency communications and security systems be adopted, authorizing $67 million of bonds with legal rates, estimated levies below $30 per $100,000 of assessed valuation while bonds are outstanding (raising $3.7 million annually), independent citizen oversight and full public disclosure of spending?

To repair local schools with funds that cannot be taken by the State and spent elsewhere, shall South Bay Union School District’s measure to replace leaky pipes and plumbing; repair classrooms; and upgrade aging electrical/ air-conditioning systems be adopted, authorizing $58 million of bonds with legal rates, estimated levies below $30 per $100,000 of assessed valuation while bonds are outstanding (raising $3.8 million annually), annual audits, independent citizen oversight and full public disclosure of spending?

To repair/upgrade schools, including vocational/career, science, engineering classrooms/labs, technology; improve safety/security, emergency communications systems; remove asbestos/lead paint/mold; provide safe drinking water; repair gas/sewer lines, restrooms; shall Sweetwater Union High School District’s measure authorizing $647,000,000 in bonds at legal rates, levying $30 per $100,000 of assessed valuation, raising approximately $42,600,000 annually while bonds are outstanding, requiring public spending disclosure, oversight, all funds used locally, be adopted?

To prepare students/veterans for jobs; upgrade vocational/career classrooms, labs/technology/equipment to train local nurses, firefighters/paramedics/other occupations; remove lead pipes/asbestos; repair deteriorating gas/sewer lines; shall Southwestern Community College District issue $800,000,000 in bonds at legal rates, levy on average $25 per $100,000 of assessed valuation, generating $51,000,000 annually while bonds are outstanding, requiring audits, public oversight/spending disclosure, all funds staying local, be adopted?
