Measure S - City of Gonzales

Shall a measure establishing a new Gonzales sales tax that increases the total tax rate from 1.0% to 1.5% used for general government purposes such as maintenance of infrastructure and improvements (Fire House, streets, roads and sidewalks, parks) adding $800,000 in revenues annually, collected on an ongoing basis until extinguished and requiring all funds to stay local with independent citizen’s committee oversight and annual audits, be adopted?
