Measure R - Merced

To enhance funding for public safety services in Merced County, including the Sheriff’s Department, District Attorney’s Office, and Fire Department; and to provide direct allocations to city public safety departments in the County, shall Merced County enact a 0.5% retail transactions (sales) and use tax raising an estimated twenty-five million dollars annually for 30 years, with citizen oversight, annual audits, and funds that cannot be taken by the State?
