Measure X - City of Gonzales

Shall a measure to increase the Gonzales Temporary Transactions and Use Tax from one-half percent (0.5%) to one percent (1.0%), and extend the life of the tax by twenty years, subject to continued independent audit and citizen’s oversight committee review, with all funds dedicated exclusively to Gonzales programs, projects and initiatives, be adopted? The tax amendment would generate an estimated additional $600,000 annually.
